Utilita Bowl
A world-class international venue anchoring GMR’s presence in the UK
Opened in 2001, the Utilita Bowl is one of the UK’s most modern, purpose-built international cricket destinations and a central pillar of GMR’s growing global venue footprint.
With a 19,000-capacity stadium, a fully integrated Hilton hotel (171 rooms), the scenic Boundary Lakes Golf Course and premium dining and wellness facilities, the venue serves as a multi-experience sports and hospitality hub.
The stadium will host marquee international fixtures including England vs India and England vs Sri Lanka in 2026, followed by its first-ever Ashes Test in 2027 - a landmark moment that underscores its rising global stature. Beyond cricket, Utilita Bowl is also a major entertainment venue, hosting concerts for up to 35,000 spectators, positioning it as one of the South of England’s leading destinations for sport, leisure, and large-scale live events.
Its inclusion in the GMR ecosystem strengthens the Group’s diversified presence across global cricket infrastructure, sports tourism and fan-led entertainment.
