Transforming Passenger Experience: Reimagining Air Travel through Virtual Replicas

18 December 2024

As aviation growth accelerates globally, digital twin technology is revolutionizing how passengers experience airport facilities. At the forefront of this transformation is GMR Airports, which is creating intelligent virtual replicas that put passenger comfort and convenience at the center of modern aviation services. Central to this innovation is the Airport Predictive Operations Centre (APOC), an advanced hub that uses real-time data, AI, and digital twin technology to optimize airport operations and enhance the passenger experience. The APOC monitors and manages various airport processes, from passenger flow to baggage handling and security, enabling smarter, more efficient, and personalized travel. This innovative platform integrates airside, landside, and terminal operations into a unified system, utilizing real-time data to optimize decision-making, minimize disruptions, and ensure seamless operations.
