, "We are truly delighted on winning yet another coveted award for the second consecutive year. Winning this international accolade, days after retaining the World Number One position, is a great morale booster for us. It is indeed an exemplary accomplishment, which is the result of our customer centric approach. These achievements reiterate our commitment towards fulfilling our Hon'ble Prime Minister's 'Make in India' mission and also act as a constant catalyst to create a new paradigm of passenger experience."
It is noteworthy that the airport operator won another accolade-1st Prize, in the Kaizen Competition under the Renovative Category in the 26th Kaizen Conference and Competition, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) - Institute of Quality. The theme of this year's conference was "Innovative Kaizens developed in India to boost Make in India".
This year's award winning entry to Kaizen was the unique "creation of a dummy aircraft, used for conducting mock drills, through available scrap material from the Airport". This has resulted in a permanent solution for conducting the Airport full scale exercise as per the requirement of ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) standards..
